Entry Requirements The desire to become a fully qualified plumber and have the ability to train in an intense atmosphere doing theory and practical work.
Content Safety in plumbing activities; Key plumbing principles; Common plumbing processes; Cold water systems; Domestic hot water systems; Sanitation Systems; Central heating systems/pipework; Electricity supply; Sheet lead weathering; Environmental awareness; Effective working relationships; Basic plumbing studies and Basic plumbing practical tasks.

What else?
The City and Guilds Plumbing Technical Certificate 6129 is an industry recognised certificate leading to a level 2 NVQ. The NVQ can be gained when working on site as it is a sitebased assessment programme.
The Next Step Once The level 2 NVQ has been achieved you can go forward to Level 3. On successful completion of the Level 3 NVQ, you will then be fully qualified in your chosen trade.

The NVQ element is Free providing students complete it within 12 months of the successful completion of the Technical Certificate/ICA Award element, or learners will incur tuition fees for the NVQ thereafter. Students must arrange their own placement.

On completion of your NVQ you can go on to achieve your gas qualifications and be CORGI registered through one of our gas courses.
