Entry Requirements	To be a qualified plumber, heating engineer or gas fitter.
Content	Enrol on Unvented Domestic Hot Water Day as well and get a special discount! To certificate plumbers in the understanding and implementation of the Water Regulations 1999. Under the new regulations the Water Companies can appoint Approved Contractors for the areas they cover. Holding a BPEC certificate should prove you have sufficient knowledge to qualify as an approved contractor. Water companies will be producing a list of approved contractors for public use. It is also envisaged that Local Authorities and Housing Associations will only use Approved Contractors.
