Entry Requirements The desire to be a qualified bricklayer working in the construction industry. You must be willing to train in theory and practise in an intense environment. All learners will undertake an initial assessment in order to gauge learning styles and support needs.
Content Erect and dismantle basic working platforms; Brick and blockwork walling; Construction walling details; Setting out for groundworks.

What else?
The CAA level 2 Diploma is a construction industry recognised level 2 course which will help you gain employment in the construction industry. You can then complete your NVQ in the workplace.

The NVQ element is Free providing students complete it within 12 months of the successful completion of the Technical Certificate which is the Level 2 Diploma Award, or learners will incur tuition fees for the NVQ thereafter. Students must arrange their own placement.
The Next Step Once you gain the Level 2 Diploma and associated NVQ you can move onto the Level 3 Diploma and Level 3 NVQ which means you are fully qualified.
