Entry Requirements The desire and learning skills to become a qualified electrician. A GCSE qualification at level C would be an advantage; students will need to undertake a visual recognition test (colour blindness).

The Next Step The Electro Technical Technology Level 2 (2330) is a recognised Level 2 qualification. This is part of the underpinning knowledge for the Level 3 NVQ which can be worked towards after the 2330 (Level 2 and Level 3) are finished and a work placement has been secured. This course only provides the underpinning knowledge for the Level 2 of The Electro Technical Technology Level 2 (2330). In order to achieve your full NVQ Level 3, you will need to also study the intensive Level 3 of the The Electro Technical Technology (2330) - this course is also offered at Filton College. On successful completion of the Level 3 NVQ, you will then be fully qualified in your chosen trade.
