Entry Requirements The desire to be a qualified plasterer working in the construction industry. You must be willing to train in theory and practice in an intense environment. All learners will undertake an initial assessment in order to gauge learning styles and support needs.
Content The basics of preparing materials and progression to external walls and dry lining. Each unit has a practical and knowledge element, together with a practical phase test and on-line exam.

What else?

The CITB/City and Guilds Intermediate Plastering course is a level 2 course designed to enable you to gain employment in the construction industry. You can then complete your NVQ in the workplace.
The Next Step Once you have achieved the Intermediate Construction Award and associated NVQ you can then progress onto the CAA Level 3 Diploma. On successful completion, you will then be fully qualified in your chosen trade. The NVQ element is Free providing students complete it within 12 months of the successful completion of the Technical Certificate/ICA Award element, or learners will incur tuition fees for the NVQ thereafter. Students must arrange their own placement.
