Bristol Construction Academy

Situated on the Northern edge of the city with easy connections to motorways, the Bristol Construction Academy trains adults who wish to gain professional qualifications within the construction industry. We specialise in intensive training programmes allowing you to achieve recognised industry standard qualifications. We also welcome enquiries from employees wishing to upskill their employees.

The following 12/15 week intensive Technical Certificates are currently available:

All programmes, excluding City & Guilds 2330 Electrotechnical, include the full NVQ Level 2 programme which involves practical on-site assessments following the 12/15 week course. Students will be required to obtain their own work placement where they will be assessed.

If you are interested in applying for one of the above courses, you will be invited in for an interview and would be asked to complete our pre-assessment paperwork, to assess the level of your suitability and capacity to succeed the course.

You must be prepared to commit to the course and attend promptly for 5 days a week, 9am to 5pm, in order to succeed on these intensive courses.

You will be working in classes of about 12 students with trainers who have copmletely up to date industrial experience. There will be classroom based work as well as the main workshop sessions.

You can expect to have personal sessions with your trainer to help you with problems that you encounter in completing your work
